Nele Lenders is a specialist Endocrinologist with a commitment to providing excellent and evidence-based care to patients. She has a special interest in pituitary disease, sports endocrinology, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), functional hypothalamic amenorrhoea (FHA) and adrenal disorders. Nele also accepts referrals for a range of general endocrine conditions, including diabetes, obesity, thyroid and bone disorders.

Nele has recently submitted her PhD in predicting pituitary tumour outcomes, through the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. She has a passion for research and its translation to clinical practice. She has 13 publications in the field of endocrinology and has presented her work at multiple national and international conferences.

Nele is a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. She has an appointment as a Clinical Lecturer with UNSW School of Medicine, through which she teaches and supervises medical students and junior doctors.

In her spare time, Nele enjoys spending time with family, her dog and running marathons.

A GP referral is essential to obtain a rebate from your consultation. Dr Lenders consults at The Stadium Clinic on Monday afternoons.
