FAQ

1. Do I need a referral?

Yes, when you are visiting one of our Sport Physicians or visiting Specialists you will require a referral from your GP or treating doctor if you wish to receive a higher rebate from Medicare. You do not require a referral to see one of our Sports Medicine Registrar's or Allied Health professionals (Dietitian, Physiotherapist, Podiatrist or Psychologist)

2. How long will my appointment take?

Appointment times will vary on the patient and if you require any further investigations (X-RAY, MRI, ULTRASOUND etc.) to be performed on the day. Please contact our friendly staff if you would like to enquire on 8323 6500

3. What should I bring to my appointment?

  • Copies of Investigation reports, Operation reports, x-rays, MRI's, CT Scans or any other relevant information.
  • If seeing a Specialist or Sports Physician please bring a referral letter.
  • Please remember to bring your Medicare and Private Health Cards as we have on the spot claiming available.
  • Wear comfortable clothing if possible so the doctor can easily access your area of concern. For example, if you have a Spine or Lower Limb problem please bring comfortable shorts with you to wear.

4. Do you only treat Athletes and Sports related Injuries?

No, we see all different types of patients from elite Athletes to all members of the community. We specialise in treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries whether they have happened on the field of play or during day to day activities. The clinic also manages Degenerative Musculoskeletal problems such as Osteoarthritis.

5. Do you treat WorkCover and TAC patients?

Yes, however not all of our practitioners do so please call the clinic to confirm. When coming for your appointment please ensure that you have all approval forms and contact details of the insurer with you.

6. Is there Parking available?

Yes, the entrance to the clinic is on Moore Park road however there is ample free parking provided for by The Stadium Clinic located in the carpark off Driver Avenue (next to the Rugby League Central Building). We are located on the ground floor of the Sheridan Building.
