Patients journey

The Stadium team will support you every step of the way

  • when you are visiting one of our Sport Physicians or visiting Specialists you will require a referral from your GP or treating doctor, you do not require a referral to see one of our Sports Medicine Registrar's or allied health practitioners.

  • Your doctor will get detailed information about your symptoms, examine the site of concern and take the history of your current and past ailments.

  • Certain diagnostic tests such as blood tests or imaging may be ordered or further consultation with a specialist may be required to confirm your condition.

  • After reviewing your results your doctor will consult with you after making an appropriate Diagnosis.

  • Once a diagnosis is made treatment may simply involve advice on activity modification and maintenance of fitness while the injury heals. Other injuries may require guided treatment including further conservative treatment or possibly surgical referral.

  • The Stadium clinic has a passion about well-being, health and injury prevention. Your Doctor will provide a management program to help you resume normal activities while staying pain & injury free.
